The Relationship Between Climate Change and Social Justice 气候变化与社会正义的关系

We all know that climate change is the change of weather patterns and in simple words, the global climate, but how can an environmental issue have relation between social justice?

Have you heard of the term "climate injustice" before? If you haven't, it refers to the different impact climate change has made to different groups of people around the world. For example, climate change might impact more on a person who is living near an active sea, than a person who lives in a well developed urban area. Do you think climate justice is possible to achieve? Logically, it depends on the area you are living in. If you live near an active volcano, then climate change might might struck you more compared to a person that lives in an urban area.

But firstly, why is climate justice necessary? This is because climate injustice forces people to work with and protect communities bearing the brunt of devastating hurricanes and accompanying flooding, disproportionate exposures to toxic substances, chronic flooding, premature deaths, chronic illnesses and more. Climate injustice is not safe and healthy for the world's population.

If the issue is that urgent, what are some ways to solve the issue? We can do this by ensuring representation, inclusion, and protection of the rights of those most vulnerable to the effects of climate change. This is a long-term issue that requires constant action and aid from supporters.
