Because fast fashion is the most affordable, it is more likely that people turn to more affordable options first, and neglect that sustainability plays a major role in their lives. Perhaps our affordability is not a choice--but what we choose to do with it is. Thus, knowing that sustainable fashion is a crucial part of contributing to overall sustainability in one's lifestyle is perhaps the most important step to taking consistent action towards sustainability.
