There are many prototyped technologies to do just that. There is one promising invention we'd like to highlight here. This incredible invention is called the "seabin". The seabin's working principle is fairly easy to understand in that it uses a water pump's suction to gather all the trash from surrounding areas. In fact, to speed up the cleaning process, it uses solar powering which of course another win for, we get a eco-friendly tool that last longer thatn any other polluting methods of cleaning our precious water systems.
