When you think about temperature, do you think the rise of 1 degree Celcius is a big deal? If you don't think so, then the truth is, the rise of one degree Celcius can cause 40,000 people from the countryside fleeing to cities, it can lead to melting glaciers, and life-risking floods.

Facts show that there is a possibility, that our world will warm up 3 degrees Celcius by the end of the century. 3 degrees Celcius can lead to the choice of wearing a jacket or not, more droughts and other natural disasters. In Bangledash, children and adults in rural areas have been in multiple house-destroying disasters where they have lost families and friends, which can lead to difficult choices. This is exactly what climate injustice is and yet, we still refuse to acknowledge that our actions are causing injustice and immorality in others' lives. Yes, it is true that all our actions have unexpected consequences that may not be the most moral and the most fair to others on a world aspect. However, now that we know that our actions are harming the environment, why don't we act on it for change and for a fairer and better world?

In our day-to-day life, 3˚ definitely does not seem significant at all. However, heatwaves, droughts, and the simple justification of why weather conditions and natural disasters happen more and more often is because of the rise of the global average temperature by 3 degrees. Children born today are 7 times more likely to experience extreme weather conditions than their grandparents. Since the Industrial Revolution, the Earth's temperature has risen from 1.1 to 1.3 degrees, and now, it is 3 degrees. What we see in Hollywood films may seem like fiction and a dramatic version of what will happen when the end of the world comes. However, if measures are not taken to end the extensive exploitation of fossil fuels, this day will come earlier than ever (hopefully not tomorrow).

We all know migrants as people who flee their homes to seek for better and more stable lives, usually because of war and other social reasons. However, not only will there be more and more migrants because of war if countries don't stop fighting each other, there will also be more and more climate migrants--people fleeing their homes to find other places to live that is without the threats of the environment. Dhaka is the city in Bangladesh where more and more climate migrants are moving to every year because of the environment's threats. The world's temperature has only risen to 1.3 degrees, so imagine 3 degrees. The world is already this disastrous, so how much more disastrous can this be? People are already suffering and dying because of this, so how can we not act on this issue?
