Its the summer, and somehow I have been updating here less frequently, or at least I feel this way because what happens during the holidays is that I start to forget what day of the week it is and then I just forget to write on here! However, I remembered today, but it is already Monday, which is technically late, but I still want to update, so here I am, writing about what has been happening in my life in the summer!
First of all, lot's of work--preview work for next year (starting ninth grade, so high school studies are very important and serious), IGCSE math practices (my teacher gave me literally 2 thick books of 10 past papers of paper 2 and paper 4 each, and told me to do them as Summer homework, and he probably does not know and I am someone who has never had summer homework and the workload is absolutely crazy), outside-of-school classes' homework, and extracurricular work (I am hosting a MUN conference next semester in November, running a YouTube channel, running an online business, writing for a media company, and also writing on this blog all at once). On top of all the workload, I still went to Shanghai for a business competition that was such a scam, and will be going to Beijing for a MUN conference, and is still setting aside time to play and relax with my friend/relative who is visiting and staying at my home (that is one of the few things I am enjoying about my summer thus far). My friend, Mia, and I, have built this "tradition" of watching Mission Impossible for 45 mins every day if we have finished our homework. We are watching the third one now and I am loving every day that we watch the movie. It is a pity that Ethan didn't successfully save Lindsay and that Luther was a bit too slow on making the voice mock system, but the all the movies are really good
We have been to the Chimelong aquarium park (because it is literally a few kilometers away from my home), to Shenzhen for a skating practice, to the Renaissance hotel for breakfast and then a swim then a trip to the mall and a walk along the sea after a pizza dinner. The trips we have been on are all amazing, and even though we ate a lot of amazing food, we also did alot of exercise, so my weight has been maintained. Today, we are going to the Huafa mall to eat some dim sum from a famous dim sum place in Guangdong, and I am super excited because I did not eat a lot for breakfast so I am basically just waiting for the delicious meal. Looking forward in watching Mission Impossible tonight!
