A lot of people have accused activists for not being eco-friendly because they take the plane to travel, eat meat and other animal products, and/or use single-use products as if they don't use it themselves. However, there are certainly some ways for us to save the environment when traveling, so dive right in:

Eat less animal products, try out some new things:
We all know about the benefits of incorporating less animal products into our lifestyle, and diet plays a big role. When traveling, we might as well try out some new dishes while still not skimping out on the flavor. How, you may ask? Well, most airlines actually have the option for you to order vegan or vegetarian meals on the flight you are on (if that flight has meals to offer), so trying that out definitely is one step closer towards having less animal products in our diet. Another benefit of ordering a vegan meal is that you get to eat earlier than other passengers so why not give this a go?
Stay at a VEGAN hotel:
Yes that exists (for those of you who are doubting its existence). I mean sure, if you are on a business trip and there is a designated hotel that you are supposed to stay at, then you might as well do what you are told to do. But if you have the choice to choose your accommodation, why not try that out? New food options, new concepts and philosophies incorporated, new daily necessities products that we perhaps are seeing for the first time can all be experienced there.
Walk more, stop taking vehicles:
This is when things get cliche, but guess what? Walking not only is beneficial for the environment, you also get to experience the full atmosphere of the place you are at. You get to see the sights that you perhaps couldn't see if you were taking the bus, you get to feel the air and the people around you that you wouldn't be able to if you were in the subway. Sure, public transportation is good, but hey, a little walking and cardio workout never hurts, right?
